I use WordPress.org to create Curly Hair Adventures. WordPress integrates Gravatars – or Globally Recognized Avatar – into my website. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. ConvertKit
As part of the registration process for my newsletter, I collect personal information (e.g. name and email address). I use that information for a few reasons:
- To tell you about stuff you’ve asked me to tell you about;
- To contact you if I need to obtain or provide additional information;
- To check my records are right, and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied 😊
I don’t rent or trade email lists with other organizations and businesses. I use a third-party provider, ConvertKit, to deliver my newsletter. I gather statistics around email openings and clicks to help monitor and improve my newsletter. For more information, please see ConvertKit’s privacy policy.
You can unsubscribe to this newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of my emails.
Google Analytics
When someone visits www.curlyhairadventures.com, I use Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the website. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.
At this time, your personal information is not shared with any other third party applications. However, this list may be updated for accuracy.
YouTube
I use plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. If you visit one of my pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of my pages you have visited.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make Curly Hair Adventures appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of YouTube under https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Google Web Fonts
For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that my web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of my plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
