Frequently asked questions
How long have you been natural?
I’ve been natural since September 4, 2015. That’s when my hair stylist cut the last of my relaxed ends after transitioning for two years.
How long does your wash day take?
Typically 3-4 hours. I sometimes split it into two days. Day one: pre-shampoo, which usually takes 1.5 hours. Day two: shampoo, deep condition (or protein treatment), then style, which usually takes 2-3 hours.
What are your favorite products and hair tools?
Right now, I love anything from Bask & Bloom, TréLuxe, Hydratherma Naturals, and CURLDAZE for products. For tools, I can’t live without my RedPro Hair Steamer and Felicia Leatherwood Detangler Brush.
